Brazilian Portuguese

Know the form.
Find it when you speak.

Work on Portuguese verb forms in focused speaking sessions. Choose the verbs and forms you want to make part of your everyday speech.

One useful verb. Three forms to recall.

Start with ir — to go. Say the forms in order, then mix them up. In the verb trainer, choose the verb, present tense, and the subjects you want to practice.

eu
Eu vou ao mercado.

I’m going to the market.

você
Você vai à praia?

Are you going to the beach?

nós
Nós vamos amanhã.

We’re going tomorrow.

In everyday Brazilian speech, you will also hear a gente vai (“we’re going”). A gente takes the third-person singular verb form: vai.

01

Choose your focus

In the verb trainer, select verbs, forms, and subjects. Everyday and irregular-verb sets give you a practical starting point. Keep the selection small enough to pay attention to the pattern.

02

Move from a pattern to a choice

Use grouped practice to work through forms, or mixed practice to switch between them. Listen to the model, say the phrase aloud, and compare what the app recognized.

03

Return to the hard combinations

Repeat a combination that needs work, then revisit it later. Build a routine of focused attempts now and fresh recall in a later session.

Your first phrase is a few taps away.
